SASHA and Omowunmi Akinnifesi are not strangers to limelight.

The former, a talented female rapper, Yetunde Alabi aka Sasha, is one of the industry‘s finest.

Her blossoming artistry has set her at par with similar acts in a predominantly male province.

The accruing fame and fortune is not in the least fortuitous, having paid her dues.

The latter is however a one-time beauty queen, who is fashionably wise.

Beyond all of this, both recently graduated from the University of Lagos and that is where their similarities come to an end.

The well-versed artiste was one of the graduating students at the last convocation ceremony of the institution, where she spent five years studying for a degree in law.

Contrary to expectations, Sasha did not rank among the best in her class: The A-Class act was awarded a third class degree.

With that, it seems the showy songster‘s brilliance does not transcend penning down lyrics and delivering it with unparalleled astuteness.

However, Akinnifesi demonstrated that she is not a beauty without brains.

Not many envisaged that in between the several red carpet functions she graced, she still had time to study.

Her studious nature has however paid off as the not-so-petite former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria graduated in flying colours.

She was a few points away from bagging a first class and was consequently awarded a second class upper degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the same institution.

  • So Shasha is a graduate, this lady is pretty adorable. How many musicians could boast of a degree worldwide? How many homosapiens could still hold on to their vision after been famous and comfortable? Are you not aware that it is very easy for Omowumi to have good grades because she is a queen when you consider the characteristics of our lecturers. Shasa is the bomb anyday and no basis for comparism.

  • With same effort she could have finished with first class in England or Wales. It is a known fact that not we all graduate will practise using our hard earned degree. Even some who graduate with first class honours might not still pursue a career in their field. What experience as thought me is that many graduate with flying colours but are unable to hold down a job simply because the only evidence of their know-how is the certificate they flash. Nothing in the brains.

  • I READ YOOUR ARTICLE WITH AN OVERWHERMING ISSUES THAT BOILED DOWN TO THE BASIS OF COMPARISON BETWEEN SASHA AND OMOWUNI...WITH ALL SINCERITY I WOULD TO ADVISE YOU NOT TO PROMOTE UNNECESSARY HATRED AMONG ARTIST...LEVEL SHOULD NOT BE THE BASIS TO ADJUGDE THE BRILLIANCE OF ANYONE.. PLEASE GET A LIFE AND CARRY OUT YOUR DUTIES WITHIN THE ETHICS OF YOUR PROFESSION IF AT ALL YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING....BY THE WAY WHO IS THIS UNKNOWN CHARACTER OF A PERSON CALLED OMOWUNMI?
